We have seen many advertisements on sites – such as the Facebook Marketplace – advertising car and vehicle keys at very low prices. Whenever we appreciate everyone after a bargain, these advertisements can cause you many problems in the long run. We’ve put together some tips on how to choose an auto locksmith and how to make sure you get a reasonable price;
1) Know exactly who is working on your vehicle.
When someone is confident to plug diagnostic equipment into your $ 10,000 + vehicle, you will want to know everything about who they are. Fortunately these days it is relatively easy to get information about a company. A quick Google search should bring the company in and using Google review services you can read past experiences from customers to see how they rated the service.
2) Cheaper is not always better.
Can a price that looks good be true? It probably is. Reputed auto locksmiths charge a calculated price on a number of things, including vehicle travel costs, part costs, and warranties. The low price may mean that there is no warranty involved, or may indicate poor quality parts supplied. Always ask if any warranty is included.
